Y'know, the Splash Mountain ride in Disneyland is based from the movie Song of the South? Well the animated parts are what make the ride. Not the live action obviously.

Reason I mention that is that I was just wondering if any kids ever asked their parents about that movie, or wondered where Br'er Rabbit, Br'er Fox, and Br'er Bear came from, since so many people still believe that movie to be politically incorrect and racist, which I can't blame them for I suppose. But trying to explain those parts of the movie to a child like that would be hard I'm sure.

When I was little I had the Disney Sing-A-Long VHS tapes, and Zip-a-Dee-Doo-Dah was on one of them. That's it. The only song from the movie. I never knew where it came from back them. Never knew it related to the amusement park ride. Never knew about the movie's existence til a couple years ago. I always just thought it was an out of place piece from Disney back then, the song and the part of the movie I did see from that VHS tape I mean.

Now being older I can understand things like this more. And this being apart of Disney's history, I am curious to watch it just to see. It's still a movie after all like any other. I would think 50 or so years later there are people like me who are accepting of how things once was and how things are changing. It is what it is. Might as well look into it sometime.

My latest drawing went into the Scraps section and I didn't put it there. Stupid subfolders. Has this happened to anyone else recently?

Because of my difficulties in getting a second job I decided to try my hands at selling some of my belongings, starting with some trading cards. I have Pokemon and Beanie Babies cards but I'm just posting the pokemon ones for now cause I'd think there's more interest for that more.

All trading cards are 20 cents each except Vaporeon which is 25 cents, the energy cards and trainer cards are 10 cents, and all anime cards are only 15 cents each.
